CLIFTON — Georgios Spyropoulos, 45, the manager of the Tick Tock Diner, is accused of asking an undercover state trooper posing as a hitman to kill his uncle, 57-year-old Alexandros Sgourdos. Spyropoulos gave the trooper an illegal handgun and a $3,000 down payment for the hit. Police say the motive for the murder was greed. Spyropoulos allegedly resented his uncle's control over the family-owned diner, and believed the uncle received an unfair share of the profits. FiOS1's Kimberly Wallace reports.
